I am 55 years old, a Registered Nurse, married for 30 years. I live in the Great North Woods region of New Hampshire. My nearest neighbor is 14 miles away.
I suppose I have had a perfectly ordinary life. Great childhood, did well in school, love my husband, get along with my adult children and extended family. And I'm very grateful for all of that

How did you get to where you are now?

My life has just seemed to flow from one thing to another. I can't take credit, it seems that I have been blessed. Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like to do things differently.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I am more at ease with myself now. I am less self-conscious. I see myself as just one person among many. I focus less on myself . Bottom line---What you see is what you get.

My cat. She lives entirely in the moment, accepts what is and doesn't waste a lot of time worrying. She is unafraid to show her love. If she doesn't like you, she simply avoids you and doesn't feel the need to argue, or try to bring you around to her way of thinking. She is an excellent judge of people. She doesn't worry about her weight or how she appears to others. She just is.
