I'm a life long Colorado girl married for almost 30 years to a New York guy.  We have 3 kids, our oldest daughter is a senior in college and our boy/girl twins are college sophomores. I guess you can say we are semi empty-nesters (except for our 3 dogs and cat.)

My partner Joan and I write a blog Just The Right Things. It focuses on ideas and products that are working for us now that our families are grown and our homes and work lives are changing.

We also own, Simple Moves, our business that helps people downsize, organize, simply and settle in in the Boulder, Colorado area. Joan and I published our first book, Organize Pack Move! Strategies and Money-Saving Ideas to Simplify Your Move, in October 2009.
