Born and raised in Scotland;  63yrs. young.  I came to the US as a 21yrs. old, spending the next 25yrs. as a military wife, mother, and having the joyful privilege of traveling to/living in various countries.  I raised one glorious daughter;  was married for 31yrs. ultimately caring for my severely disabled husband the last five years of his life.  Two years after his death started two businesses with my partner.  Now I say I'm retired but caring for sixteen "kids" (the fur and feather variety) 24/7, keeping up two blogs,  'retired' has taken on new meaning.

How did you get to where you are now?

By some very interesting...and at times challenging...pathways! 

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Wow!  Much more confidant, vibrant, self-assured having emerged from the protective cocoon which enwrapped the true 'me'. 

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hmmm...wherever life takes me on my quest towards my 100th. birthday!

The water of life is invigorating!  I'd say "Wish you were here" but...be patient and enjoy the lessons life brings.  Can't wait until you get here!
