my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Well, today, I drove. Some times I walk... That question needs to be clarified, but then maybe you want us, the vibrant women that we are, to figure out the answer. First, where am I? In my den at the computer, deciding to take a chance on writing in to this site. Generally, I'm suspicious of the internet taking my soul and using it for confetti.

Really, Where am I? Is a serious question and I would say I am in a better place than I have ever been, on many levels. The catastrophic impact of my husband's death turned me and my life upside down and consequently I had to right it, or die. I had an incredibly lovely marriage to a wonderful man, so learning to live without him has been life saving for me.

So now, I'm right side up, which is good, because it's really hard to type with my feet.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Oh, my God! Yes! I'm still me but a more complete and integrated version.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Alive and kicking.

a postcard to my younger self

You were the bomb; that red hair alone was the detonator. Be yourself and it'll all work out.
