my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

With patience, and a positive outlook, even in the time of struggle and dispair, I have risen to another level of life's assurance. I must go on. Maturity is a good thing.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

It seemed to me, I woke up one morning, and I knew within myself, everything would be all right. Ten years ago, even that I had knowledge of GOD, I would have worried. Today, I watch for signs of HIS handiwork. I know how Good GOD is.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I am able to see myself doing all of the things I wanted to do, when I had the time. I see myself jotting down, and publishing my life long joy of writings. I see myself traveling in ministry. I see myself enjoying my life. I see myself enjoying my family.

a postcard to my younger self

Girl; if only you knew, the wonderful experiences you would have in life, if you'd protected your heart, took those steps out into unknown territory, and went on, and listened to the voice of the LORD, and relocated when HE told you to. The ministry could have taken a different turn, so be glad for where you are. Remember the love you've known. Be grateful, for every enemy the devil sent your way. They only added to your wisdom. Keep your head up. Life is good.

my role models

The role models I remember in my life were, my maternal Grandmother. She was a hard working woman, full of faith, and an enduring hope for our futures. She taught me to trust GOD. Mother, Anna Brown, my spiritual mother. She taught me the love of GOD. Ms Young, an English teacher, who taught me to love writing. Several men and women of GOD, whom I've met along my spiritual journey. Bishop John H Boyd, Sr., Prophetess Juanita Bynum, Dr Marlene D Talley, Bishop Charles Lyles, Bishop Ingo Beard, Prophet Andre Cook, Dr Eric Figueroa, Dr Aretha Wilson, Pastor Henry Anthony Smith, and Sister Edna Gaddist, one of GOD'S, most humble prayer warriors.
