How did you get to where you are now?

My background is a long and continuing career as a serial entrepreneur, much of it with my own design companies. During the course of it, I've been involved with many women's groups and with individual women who have been inspiring and helpful to my life.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

My interest in women in my age group has gotten much stronger. I think women 50 and Forward are setting an exciting new standard for vitality and interests at this phase of life.

Television viewers 18-49 are rated the most valuable by advertisers.   Fifty-four is the highest age Neilson Ratings bothers to measure. Above that, viewers aren’t even counted. It may be changing.

"I think we may have started new awareness on the subject of diet sodas. I see very little in the press on the dangers.  Of course there is a great deal of advertising for diet sodas so most women assume they are helpful for weight control...." (read comment)

"I 've tried to research studies on diet soda and weight gain. They are apparently inconclusive in proving cause and effect but the two are at least linked. It also seems that most women who control their weight well through wise eating don't ..." (read comment)
