I am 50 years young, about 5'9 with blondish brown hair below my shoulders with bangs.  I am married.  I have two Boxer puppies; a four month old male named Tucson, and a year old Boxer puppy, named Sadie (Sadie is lost in Silver City NM and I am frantically looking for her!).  I am the proud Mom of a 21 yo daughter, named Amanda.  She is married to an Air Force man (Jake) and they are expecting a daughter May 22nd of this year (Kylee Jade).  I worked for the Federal Government (DOD, Navy and Navy Housing, then the IRS) for 22 yrs and raised my daughter, before I became a wife for the very first time and my husband says "you don't have to work anymore; let me take care of you."  So my days were taken up with taking care of my husband, crocheting, surfing the Internet, shopping, and taking care of my home and dog, and playing with Sadie, but now I am living with a friend of his in Texas, raising my baby Boxer, Tucson, and waiting for my husband to be released from prison where he doesn't belong!  I am also in a frantic search for my other baby, Sadie.

How did you get to where you are now?

I got married at 49.  My husband and I moved to New Mexico for him to work at the local mine.  When the price of copper dropped, they laid him off.  He has been actively searching for a job in his field, anywhere in the United States (well I have my preference!  LOL).  My husband was arrested in NM on June 10th, 2009 for an old warrant he thought he had handled.  Our Boxer Sadie was run off by the "big men with many guns" because they came into our home like an episode from 'Cops' and hit and kicked him, faceplanted me, and my baby Sadie was so terrified and had no where to run, that she left her safe home and ran into the brush and I have not seen her since! My husband was extradited to Texas, where he is awaiting being released (we hope!).  I rented a moving truck and with some hired help, loaded up our 2-bedroom home and drove all the way to Houston TX with my baby Boxer, Tucson.  I put everything we own in storage and I am staying with one of his friends until my husband is released.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I saw myself at 50, with a few more kids, and sitting on my front porch with my husband, watching our grandchildren play.  Now I see myself with just my husband and dog, living somewhere in the United States, and going to visit my grandchildren by myself.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years, God willing me being alive, I will be a spry sexy 60 year old, active in everything, and beloved by all!

Dear Younger Self;

I suggest you get married and have your children early on, because when you are 49, you will start bleeding heavily and have to have an emergency hysterectomy.  Also, go to college and learn all you can, before you have babies!
