Happy Daze

Just the facts....Married 39 years to the same wonderful man. Enjoying semi-retirement since my husband is 6 yrs. older.  I took part-time work when he retired.

Love living on a lake and spending time outdoors enjoying the great views of wildlife and nature's beauty in all 4 seasons.

Work opens the door to many wonderful experiences w/people and places.  It keeps us young to have purpose and the income is welcome!

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Kept the dream/vision in front of myself always and it came to pass.  Very blessed to have God's hand on our lives and family who love us too.  Friends change in our seasons of life and are always welcome as well.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I will be 60 this month and it's the first I've seen myself as vulnerable to health changes & challenges.  Every day is a treasure to milk for all it's worth.  Our call as women is to teach the younger women from our wisdom and experience.  Only when the student is ready will it make a difference in their lives.  Family becomes more important w/every passing year!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

By 70 I hope and pray to love myself more just the way I am.  By living a bit frugally and w/purpose there will be more money & resources to reach out to others.  Traveling to help in the nations of Africa is on my heart.

EnJOY You!  Today and where/what you are being/doing is all you have.  Be kind to yourself and extend grace to others always :)

my role models

My grandmothers, even great grandmothers and my mom without a doubt!  They were each pioneers in their own way.
