I was told as a child that I hailed from a nation of nomads- gypsies. That was one of many stories I wove into my personal tapestry, which is very colorful and intricate and yes, it has a flaw or two! I was out on my own too early, but tenaciously held onto dreams of what my life should be, and indeed, many of those dreams and intentions were realized! I have worn many hats, most importantly being a wife and mother. To make money, I worked at a supermarket in my youth, went on to sell life insurance, stayed at home with my girls for seven glorious years, got a degree as a secondary English teacher, and began performing stand-up comedy at the age of 36. I had a morning radio show in San Antonio for a few years which opened doors for motivational speaking, charity work and local television comic relief spots. I continued my education and received a masters in counseling. My next move is to continue with speaking engagements, completing my book, (the next ones are swirling in my head) and start my certification as a life coach.
