You'll have to wait for my book for All the juicy details. Here are a few highlights. I'm a 59 year old interior designer with my own business in NC. http://www.designresourcegroup.biz

I've unfortunatley been married too many times but finally hit the jackpot.( 7 years ago) He's not perfect but neither am I. I have one son, three stepchildren, and two grandchildren that so far are the only thing in life that's not overated. I love animals although I have been 9 years without one.(longest time ever)My faith has gotten me through some really rough times but I think God has a weird sense of humor.I like who I am for the most part but I do have some regrets and think that people that say they wouldn't change a thing are liars.I have very little patience for whiners and people that don't take responsibility for their actions. My favorite quote is"The epitome of insanity is doing the same thing over and over expecting different results."

My interests are working out, golf, dancing, reading, walking,my grandchildren, chillin'with my hubby, reading, cooking, minimal gardening.

My favorite music is Journey, Prince, Duffy, Barry White, Luther Vandross, El Divo, Beach Music, Classic Rock, Whitney Houston, Barbara Streisand, Kenny G, Country Rock......Loathe Rap and computer generated noise!

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

By not letting my mistakes define me, hard work, and an ability to see the reality of my circumstances and make adjustments where necessary.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I see myself through my grandchildren's eyes. They have made me a more compassionate and less cynical person. They make me want to be a better person. I was so young when my son was born that I missed the wonder of such a trust. In a way I  think I'm making it up to him thru them.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

God only knows. I hope I'm in a position where my biggest problem is what annual to plant where!

a postcard to my younger self

You should have listened to your inner voice. It was never wrong! If you had taken the same advise you give your grandchildren you could have saved yourself a lot of $$ and heartache.

my role models

Anyone who is true to themselves.
