my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Diligence and hard work coupled with passion. I followed my dreams and never stopped believing I could have what I wanted. I haven't actually arrived at my destination, but I keep moving forward one step at a time.

I never stopped believing in myelf. I trusted that I had knoweldge, skills, whatever I needed to get where I wanted to go...no matter what anyone said.

I trusted that I knew my soul's purpose. And I have tried to fulfull it.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I see myself as older and wiser. I see my limitations physically, but I see my limitless opportunities in all other given my experience and knowledge.

I do feel a bit pressured to get things done or accomplished now. I feel like I've piddled around a bit and now I have to complete what I started. It's time to fulfill my potential and my purpose.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see myself feeling very happily fulfilled. I see myself with many of my books written and published, and, therefore, helping many people accomplish their goals and live their lives fully on many levels. I see myself feeling more peaceful and having much more time to relax! I think it will take  me another 10 years to accomplish my soul's purpose...to get everything in place, and then I'll be able to watch it all roll out much more easily and effortlessly. I'll be able to enjoy living my purpose rather than working at it quite so hard.

Hopefully I can do that sitting on the deck of my beach house with my husband, a dog, a cat, and my laptop as I continue to write.

a postcard to my younger self

Dear Nina,

No worries. You'll turn out fine. Just be yourself, follow your dreams, pursue your passions, fulfill you purpose, trust your intuition. Remember, your thoughts truly are creative. Be happy. That's the main thing.

Love,

Nina
