I grew up in Toronto, the second child of Italian parents. It was wonderful growing up in the 50s and 60s. Began work at 17 and loved the business office environment. My Dad took us all to Europe in 1960 and the travel bug was set. In 1970, I'd saved up for my first real vacation to Japan for Expo '70. What a life-changing experience to immerse onesself into another culture. A marriage in 1972 ended after four years, and in 1978 moved to California with my second husband. We enjoyed the "ride" there for 21 years, mostly in the computer graphics and special effects biz for motion picture and television. This stint included travel to Hong Kong, Australia and Europe. Then in 1999, we took on a business adventure in Germany, living near beautiful Heidelberg. After two years, we decided to settle back in Canada to beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario and have happily been here since 2001. I've spent most of these past years studying nutrition and natural health, along with caregiving my Mother.
