How did you get to where you are now?
By believing others & not having confidence in myself & trusting my own instincts. I married the wrong man & stayed for 27years. He ruined my life & I was a willing participate. I woke up at 47 & divorced him, but he is living with me after a 2 year divorce & I want him out of my home but I have no support, I'm alone & lost my job, I need his financial support. As soon as I can pay my bills alone, he is moving out. I know now I do not love this man & don't want him in my life. I just need a good job. I will find one. Then my life will change for the better.
How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?
Free, Stronger, Braver, & WISER. Still learning from my many mistakes. I'm trying to move forward, however these set backs are hindering my growth. I'm not where I want to be yet, I'm trying very hard. This is the hardest struggle of my life to date. The past 3 yrs have been grueling. I'm scared, but one day at a time & just keep trying to make a better life.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
The happiest I've ever been! Doing what I want. Living the way I want, with peace of mind! Alone, with him totally out of my life.
