my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

I joined the Navy, then got the education I couldn't afford.  It wasn't the easiest path, but a good one that was worth every minute.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I thought I would be a housewife, raising alpacas, and teaching as necessary.  But Laarry got sick and the alpacas are gone and I am teaching and a major caregiver.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I make no guesses.

a postcard to my younger self

Don't be so cocky!  As smart as you are, the greatest lesson you will learn is that the learning never stops.  Do be so dang cautious!!!  Let go and live a little more.  Be careful, be smart, but relax and let life happen.

my role models

As a child it was Dale Evans.  She was her own person, a celebrity, the wife of a celebrity, a mother, adoptive mother, actess, author, singer, and inspirational speaker.

Now, no one.  There are people I admire for a variety of reasons, but no one person stands out.
