a postcard to my younger self

Dear self:

You know when you decided your parents are crazy - you are right.

You know when you decided that Fred is the ONE well you are right about that one too so don't let your parents or his parents or his confusion get you confused too - just stay the course and he will come to see that you are the one that loves him

And you know when you decided you need a medical degree and could find no one to help you with college much less an advanced degree - well you don't need their help or approval - just see it and don't stop until you get there.

Quit second guessing yourself and giving away your power.
