I am a freelance editor and copywriter, and author of two memoirs: Briarhopper: A History (my mother's life story from 1913 to the end of WWII), and Accidental Cowgirl: Six Cows, No Horse and No Clue (the story of how my husband and I, searching for a quiet, rural retreat, spent twelve years as the indadvertant owners of a small cattle ranch). I'm told we were called, "Ruralpolitans." Our friends thought we were crazy. Our neighbors knew we were.
The book has one three awards (two of them for humor, so you get the idea).
I live in northern California with my husband and our dog of questionable parentage, Fizzbo, where I am at work on my third memoir: working title: Results May Vary.
