basykes

Married almost 45 years, raised 5 kids, buried two.  Worked many years in the medical field, as transcriptionist and then office manager.  Now essentially "retired," but work as the theatre critic for the local paper and occasionally write feature articles.  Best experience:  6 weeks in Australia in 2003, visiting a girlfriend I met on the internet.  We were Thelma and Louise and loved it.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

I dunno.  Just living one day to the next, I guess.  There was no life plan for me.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I think I am more accepting of what I have and especially what I don't have.  I feel calmer within myself

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Probably still sitting here at my computer.

a postcard to my younger self

Hang on.  It's going to be a bumpy ride and some parts won't be very pleasant, but mostly it will be great.  (Try to develop an exercise plan, though...)
