How did you get to where you are now?

Education, determination, good work ethic. I took the t off of can't.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I no longer put myself at the bottom of my list of important things to take care of.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

 

Successful, in that I will have reached the youth of today with my book, Olivia's Magic Conch and they, now adults understand the importance of preserving our oceans and beaches. They will spread the word through actions and deeds and remind future generations to do the same.

Try to be less critical of yourself, God isn't finished with you yet. Don't try to do it all in one day. Breathe deeply; listen to the voice of the sea as it speaks to your soul.

my role models

My mother Mary, who proved you can.  Aunts, Sunny for her tips on looking good all the time, and Annie who listened. Teacher of Beauty Culture, Mrs. Wood who wrote in my yearbook: "Good, Better, Best. Never stop until good is better and better is best.  In my estimation you are one of the best."I never knew she thought that highly of me until I graduated.

How do you feel about a fable that educates the reader(Tween and up) while at the same time entertains them and the result is they learn without a fuss?
