I live on Cape Cod and am an active, progressive 57 year old with 2 grown children and a successful consulting firm.  Divorced a guy who meant well but wasn't good for me then married the nicest guy I could find. I love my work and our lives together.  My daughter is my business partner; she returned from London after grad school with a great guy...wedding this summer.  Our 22 year old son graduates in May so tuitions are finally over ; )   I enjoy reading, writing, and traveling...and feel that at 57 I've done a great job launching my kids and have really grown into myself.  I wouldn't want to be anyone else or be anywhere else.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Lots of hard work and soul searching has made it easy to laugh at myself and with others.  The tough times...divorce, illness and financial stress...wound up being the catalyst to my success and contentment. I've enjoyed giving back to my community while making sure that my children were always the priority.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Today: Confident, healthy and successful...and willing to try anything.  If I drop dead tomorrow, I'll feel good about my life!

10 years ago: Plagued with doubt, critical of my body and wanting things I didn't have.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A published author living a slightly more mellow lifestyle with lots of grand babies!

a postcard to my younger self

You've got so much going for yourself...forget what society says about your body, your role and acceptable behavior...make memories with your kids and do things that make your heart sing!

my role models

Free spirited women who live their dreams.
