Born in 1950 under the sign of Leo.

My mother tongue is French and I speak it every day with my husband.  Though now living in a predominantly Anglophone city, it's pretty much the only time I do speak it, other than to family when we go for a visit.

Very happily retired after 30 odd years of work in the health care field.  No not a nurse, just a secretary!!!

Married 39 years this June.  We have a son and a daughter and three grand children with another one due in December.

I live in New Brunswick, Canada. My kids however live in BC, 5000 miles away....was it something I said?  Nah, the work situation was more promising for them there and off they went, at least they live within 20 miles of each other so when we visit, it's just one flight we need to take.

I'm enrolled in an online course on how to write stories for children.  It's interesting and fun and not at all as easy as I thought it would be.  But I'm enjoying it and even if I never get published, I'll at least be able to write stories for the grandchildren.

The reason I chose that picture for my bio is because I have wonky toes, the 2nd one on both feet overlaps the big toe, makes it hard to buy comfy shoes that don't look like boxes.

I will be having surgery (again) to correct this, hopefully this time it will work.

I'm looking forward to visiting the kids this summer and meeting my newest grandchild.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Finally done with the hot flashes!

And all the accompanying psychotic episodes related to menopause, or as my hubs calls it, mentalpause.

I just wasn't "me" for a while.

 

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I'll be 70 by then, hopefully healthy, a little wealthy and a lot wiser.

Now that I'm older I thought it was great that I seemed to have more patience.....turns out I just don't give a shyt.
