My Blog Circle:

I'm a 50+ woman who's still riding the crest of a blessedly vibrant life.  Married with two boys, ages 25 and 21 and the best dog ever, Spirit. After 20+ years in advertising, I began writing fiction, publishing short stories and poetry, editing a literary journal, and now publishing, a novel, THE SUBLIME TRANSFORMATION OF VERA WRIGHT. This book reveals mystical experiences in a fun but poignant journey taken by 12 women all over the age of 50! I'm anxious to share Vera's story with the beautiful women of Vibrant Nation. www.reanolanmartin.com

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

By knowing all things are possible.  By saying YES to almost everything creative and fun and NO to almost everything that I knew would drain my energy.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Now I have more patience, insight, and vision.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Writing stories, books and movies.  Hopefully playing with grandchildren!

Dear rea,

Glad to see you laughing so much. Laugh more! Love better!  Forgive easily! Take more naps! Cherish every moment with your remarkable children, colorful family, loyal friends...and the many hilarious dogs who will accompany you through life.  Most of all, remember this: when the big scary thing happens, breathe. And keep the faith. It works out;  everything works out.  It really does.

God doesn’t laugh at our plans

To think that God orchestrates everything from inconvenient mishaps to devastating catastrophes in order to teach us a lesson, is to believe in a God without mercy or compassion.
