Over 50! Wow! How did this happen?! I know, it's better than the alternative...and I truly love life and all the human messiness that comes along with it...but come on! I still feel, oh, say 35...Mother Nature says something else! I love all the comments here, and all the sharing with fantastic women going through the same kind of "stuff!" Anyway...I guess the best way to describe me is a "teacher," or "emotional healer," and I use a variety of media to accomplish this. Author, presenter, coach, mentor...I'm happiest when I'm helping someone stretch and grow. Selfishly, the sense of reward is exponentially increased because I learn more than the people I'm helping! Oh, I'm learning to ride a motorcycle...pretty cool, can't wait to get some "road time." Parking lots just don't cut it!

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?
I'm perpetually curious and love understanding the "why" and "how" of things...in work, when someone asks me "will you do this?", I always do, so get asked to help with lots of things. I also believe people know I care, so they trust me enough to talk to me...it keeps me humble. In a person as confident as I, it's really important to keep confidence from slipping over the edge to arrogance.
How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?
In many ways, stronger and more in tune with myself and the rest of the world, or at least my little piece of it. Then again, more aware of how little I really know and understand about how we all "tick."
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Traveling with my husband...whether in our motor-home, or by plane, train, or automobile...it's a big country and we want to explore it! Of course, to go "abroad" my first port of call would be Ireland...I've always wanted to go. It's certainly on my "bucket list!"

a postcard to my younger self

Thank you for all the experience! You typically had to do it your way, and learn things by experiencing them...sometimes with less than stellar results. It's given a richness to life that I, at this point in time, appreciate. I don't believe in regret, for without life lived the way it's been, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I like and love that person, "warts and all!"
