Michele Meagher

I am the child of two power connectors - a gregarious dad who makes friends no matter where he goes and a mom who had a flair for the spoken and written word. Raised in the U.S. Navy, I learned at an early age that building community is portable; I take it with me everywhere I go. That's why making connections is as natural as breathing is to me. Whether it’s connecting the dots, connecting people with ideasor with other people, I can’t help myself, connecting just starts to happen! It's a passion that I explore at Your Next Quest and in my free monthly e-newsletter Your Next Quest Chronicles featuring Quest Makers - women in their 50's and beyond making changes, one story at a time.

Right now I connect women with:

  • Ideas that can lead them to lives they love
  • Stories of other women who share the paths to their own dreams
  • Resources to help uncover their own right livelihoods
  • Each other so we all can celebrate our successes along the way.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

As the Beatles (my all time favorite band) sang, "it's been a long and winding road." A big part of who I am now is made up of all I have done: from living in an experimental housing program while in college (encounter groups, house meetings and dish duty!), to teaching English, working with a small start-up and later in high tech public relations, in directing a nonprofit professional association and by connecting the dots between women and their dreams. Those different experiences have moved me forward on my own journey.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I am comfortable in my own skin in a way I wasn't then. I cherish who I am now and the woman I am continually becoming.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Empowering vibrant 50+ women to declare: "Now it's my time!", helping them set off on their own quests, cheering them on and sharing their stories nationwide!

Everything does work out for the best. Trust me, the path you are on now will lead you to where you want to be.
