Born in San Francisco over 56 years ago. Spent some time on my grandparents farm in Paradise, California a beautiful area just north of Sacramento. Grew to love nature which I credit farm life living. The oldest of 5 children to a Mother who worked 3 jobs sometimes to help sustain her family. Who taught us all never to give up on our dream and never feel it's to late no matter what your age. I've a Science Degree in Natural Health, been with my sweetheart now for 34 years and the Mother of two youngadults, a daughter 26 years old, a son 20 years old. Now that both children are at the age they are, I am going after my dream, which is? Since my youth it has always been my dream to write a story where the reader would come to learn or feel something good from the character and want a sequel.I wrote a fantasy fiction with some spiritual undertones about a young girl whose world shares our Planet Mother Earth with us. Yet her world is unseen to our eyes. This story is an introduction/beginning to who she is, how her world came to be, and why? She tells you about her gifts and talents, a little about her family and friends, a few adventures, and makes it clear she is not a miss goodie two shoe, she has her faults. She shares her story all while she waits to journey into our world. The reader will discover her people are our ancestors. I wrote this story in Conversational English. I wanted the reader to imagine my character telling her story personally to them. My dream/goal as a Self-Published Author is to share this fantasy fiction with readers who are always looking for something very different to read in this realm. There is a sequel to follow, since my character is telling her story to someone in our world, but who and what time period?  So, I'm heeding my own Mother's advice and going after my dream. www.sharonvinay.com

a postcard to my younger self

Always remember who you are, why you're here and to always live each day to it's fullest even if that day is a challenge. Keep hope that all will work out.
