Ardessa

I am a 56 year old grandmother and I attend Purdue University.  I have an Associates degree in Humanities and am continuing school to get my bachelor'degree. I am looking forward to being a Social Worker. I have worked with severely disabled high school students for seven years now and want to further my education so that I can be more efficient in my profession.  I love going to my church and getting closer to God.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

With great determination I worked two jobs sometimes to take care of my family.  I kept praying and asking God to help me find my true potential.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I am much more confident.  Gossip and jealousy doesn't affect me like it used to.  I am more determined.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I know that I will have grown much wiser and will help trouble youth find their greatest potential.

a postcard to my younger self

Only what you do for Christ will last.  Don't worry about how other's feel about you.  Just continue to do the right things and God will always have your back.

my role models

My role models are Jesus Christ, My mom and dad, Nelson Mandela, Maya Angelou, the Obamas, and Martin Luther King.
