my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Determination, courage, inner strength, love and hope.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Age has been kind to me, except for starting Arthritis in my knees.  I was a lot more active 10 years ago.  I am more relaxed now, not having to work outside the home.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Living a quiet life.  I do NOT want to go into an "Old Folks Home".  I volunteered in some of those awful places. To me they seem inhuman Purgatories, with no privacy or dignity, no real life left to live.

a postcard to my younger self

A fine mess you got yourself into!! Now you have to try so much harder to feel good, look good and be up-beat with so much less financially! The money you gave away to others, would come in handy these days.  Live and learn. Now I am a little smarter, a little wiser and somewhat jaded at times.

my role models

Women in Politics,  Teachers, Volunteer workers, women who look great at any age.
