My last child left the nest nearly three years ago.

My interests are current events, opposition to preemptive war, animal welfare ...especially the anti foie gras effort, dollmaking [see FauxBaby.Net], nature, and music.

How did you get to where you are now?
Through making one mistake after another until I ran out of mistaken ways to do things.
How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?
I see myself with more understanding and empathy now than I did 10 years ago. Maybe the precise way to say it is that I have become truly my own friend.
