I am an illustrator. I am currently illustrating the "Magdalene legacy Tarot" with partner and deck originator Casey Duhamel.  I hold a B.S. in Education, K-8 and Early Childhood, from the University of Akron. I have taken post undergrad studies in Visual Communication Design from Kent State University. I work with both Macintosh and PC's. I also utilize Graphite, Pastel and Colored Pencils, as mediums.

I've spent over 33 years of marriage to the sweetest, most wonderful man in the world. Not that this has been any kind of cakewalk. Marriage can be heaven and it can be hell depending on the times and circumstances.  Many times we talked about throwing in the towel, but for some reason, we are still here together, bound by everything we have experienced during our years together. we both have changed drastically in that period of time and I would say half of it was due to our marriage and half was due to our own desires for personal growth and the experiences we brought upon ourselves because of this. I currently live in Northeast Ohio. I am the mother of two grown daughters and three grandchildren.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

How did I get to where I am now? A very long and very winding road.  Not that I planned it that way.  I am by nature a very straight and narrow,  extremely direct and above board personality.  It is the Universe that has the sense of humor, using me as it's ultimate "straightwoman" in it's comedy of life.

a postcard to my younger self

If you take to heart everybody's opinion of you or what you do, you will end up very confused and depressed.  This is a very big world, and there are people who both love and hate qualities and things on either end of the spectrum. And every opinion is as valid as the other.

SO IS YOURS.

You are an empathic change agent, so don't expect those who are embedded in creating the here and now to agree and understand you.  They are logically processing data from the past in order to create a present in which they can survive.  On the other hand, you are esoterically processing the information you receive now with your senses in order to see the survivable future.

Do NOT believe what the world and it's institutions tell you. Most are just a web of stories and lies.  Find the truth within yourself and don't be afraid or ashamed of who you are.

But If you are going to expose the human condition, you better put a lot of sugar on it, or very few will understand. If you don't do the same with your  art,  only people with depressed or perverse nature will buy it. The attention of the mundane are not developed to appreciate a high volume of poignance, and some will not  even see it in front of their faces.

But most of all  ALWAYS  REMEMBER:

Staying at your goal weight is like greasing the intestines of the world - Your BS goes through a lot faster, easier, and more comfortably!   ;D

What is Neurotheology?

I personally find the study of Neurotheology fascinating.  It is still in it’s infancy.  but it seeks to build a bridge between science and spirituality in all religious practices.
