I was born in Sicily and since I was a little child I always knew that I had an artistic gift. Starting the age of five I was drawing with skills that most kids did not have. Eventually I went to Art schools and pursue my career as an artist and a teacher.

I've been married and divorced once, and I have no children; I transfer the love for children as a teacher and an aunt.

My first love would always be the Arts and the ability to make things come to life thru my drawings and paintings

To see a child learn and create is the most fulfilling and rewarding thing in my life. The arts allow a child to express his moods, pain while helping him or her cope with negative experiences in life.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Love for knowledge and the arts and a passion for teaching others

Determination to be independent and self reliant

The influence of some very good friends in my life is something that I still cherish.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I se myself more patient and more accepting of others ups and downs about life in general

Negative and positive experiences taught me how to develop better coping skills to deal with the ups and downs of growing older and not to depend too much on others for help.

Making changes is probably more difficult to achieve for me as I grow older.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Working on my art work showing my paintings and settle in a peaceful place near the shore.

I also see myself in better physical shape, mentally and physically

Perhaps finding someone comparable will be the most challenging thing for me. I tend to be too independent and protective of my world The fear to lose that control bothers me a bit.

It is not easy to live with a creative individual.

a postcard to my younger self

Keep the faith and be in good spirit.

Life is great and age is an attitude, do not lose that child in yourself learn to laugh about things and be patient with others that still do not know what they want to do with their lives, no matter what age they are.

my role models

My father, for creating his own happyness by doing the things he loved most: fishing gardening, scubadiving and aprecciating life without ever being rich.

My step sister from going from "riches to rags" with grace, without losing her mind and spirit to suvive
