I just turned 60 in October and I've already started "big". First thing I did was get my motorcycle temps! woo-woo! I've been a long-distance/endurance bicyclist all my life. Still riding. Just adding another type of cycling. Getting a 3rd piercing in my left ear - at the top - just because. I'm on the founding board of a newly formed music group, MajesticVoice - and we'll also sponsor youths with grants to encourage the arts. I'm a mother of 3 sons, and grandmother of one - and she's my little heartthrob. My husband and I just returned from a New Year's Eve vacation with friends to Orange Beach, Ala. My faith is #1, and preserving my country is also #1. I work for temporary agencies and also own my own company, Mary Kay Cosmetics. Go to marykay.com/ewages if you like. Nice to meet you all!

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Learning the hard way sometimes! I was brought up in a professional household. Music is my first love, and have consitently honed that gift all my life. Piano, voice, and theatre - love the stage. Coupling that with a 1st marriage and 3 sons. Now with a new husband and extended family, I'm learning that balance is sacred to me. I'm a 'less-is-more' kind of woman. And it fits me perfect.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Each decade that I entered, it seemed I added something I'd never had done before. Something to look forward to. And with each addition, learning to do it with excellence. The next decade I may continue those or just start a new one. When I get 'bored' with myself, that's when the creativity takes over and look to see what I'll do next. And take anyone along with me for the adventure!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Well, let's see. You know? If I don't do it in this decade, I may add tap dancing! I can see it now! Grandma's gams! LOL
