I am acutely aware of being a work in progress.
My Mother taught me to read and write.
Friends are the greatest miracle.
I am married to the nicest guy.
I have been a theater techie, telephone secretary,
retail manager, commis, Chef, Caterer... now retired, yet somehow I stay busy.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

After 20 years absence I came home to bloom where I was planted.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I was then more concerned about forging my destiny.  Now I hope to learn to evolve though swept along by the tide.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Still in the swim?

a postcard to my younger self

Just because you are not the target doesn't mean you shouldn't duck.  Plan for forever, but live in the moment.

You are more than any number-- whether it is your age, weight, income or IQ.

Dream.  What have you always wanted to do?  Do it! Put yourself in situations that interest you-- what you wanted to do but never thought you would get to do.

Sincerity, interest, presence in the moment all shine through you.   Cultivate yourself as a  friend. When you are at ease and happy you are most attractive.
