my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Well, I bounced around quite a bit in various vocations until I married and we returned to the music and songwriting which then lead back to the sewing. Staying in the game is the biggest factor. Always looking forward and reaching for things you think you might like to try.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Ten years ago I was headed into a career in natural health. Studying and working full time. I was sure I would be out there healping people get healthy physically and mentally.

Now, with the music and songwriting and hence performance, I feel like I still help people think and live healthier, just in a much more subtle way. We meet so many people from diverse backgrounds who love our music and want to be friends because of it. Those relationships often takes us to converstaions about food and natural living. Interesting tie-in.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Well established enough in the music/performance to be able to travel abroad and in front of larger audiences. To have my songs and stories sought after and performed by other artists. Also to have the clothing line as a name brand that is well recognized and competitive.
