Born and raised in Mass, College in NH, Moved to VT for career, then off to CT. Worked in Corporate America for 25 years. Laid off. Moved to the beach. Opened a bed and breakfast. Took on a 2nd career - seasonal - doing taxes. All those years of being stuck inside in an office, now I see the sun every day. Often we serve breakfast out on the deck, so I get to smell the ocean & have wonderful conversations. In the spring & fall I have lots of free time during the week to walk on the beach.

How did you get to where you are now?: Lots of support from my parents and grandparents started me off well. Worked hard in school. Learned to pay my own way. Then along the way as obstacles and bumps (many of them) landed in my way - I got right back up and started figuring out how to get where I wanted to go. Perserverence and Reinvention...
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: Hopefully life will be easier and I will have more time for enjoyment.

Hang in there baby... life is gonna be a bumpy ride. Try to do a better job of hanging on to your women friends...they're the ones who will be your most faithful supporters.
