my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Was raised  on the south side of Indpls. I had lied about my age and worked at the Tee Pee restaurant inside waitress. Walked to work everyday.Fell in love and was married in 1971. Started work in 1972 at a large manufacturing plant here in Indpls..

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

A lot wiser! I do miss the Family Unit though. Gosh, one minute you csn't wait for them to leave and the next you want them back....lol

I am really proud of them.

Since i have retired, I have had the opportunity to work in Nashville, In. at a large store part-time. Enjoyed the flow of the tourist.. I also work seasonal at a large department store in fragrances.. This will be my third year. A large difference from manufacturing. Found out I love sales.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

i see myself having replaced all of my photo equipment that I lost in the flood (under insured) and recapturing my passion. Part-time photographer and still keeping in sales part-time. I just love meeting new people. Traveling a bit. My life is so open now that I have numerous roads to travel.

a postcard to my younger self

Remember, people will forget what you said and what you did. But people will never forget how you made them feel.

my role models

My Mother. All of the obstacles I have watched her overcome and her love was so true.

When I thought I couldn't do, couldn't take anymore and didn't want to, I just remember her.   And I know I can do anything!
