a postcard to my younger self

At twenty you wished you could have the looks you had then, coupled with the wisdom you would have now.  I miss your keen analysis and detachment more than your looks. I miss your sense of humour.  Because this post has made me think, I'll try to recapture those from you.

You'll end up just fine.  After all, we started this life together, and the view of life is good from here!  The paths are always interesting.  Walk them well.

my role models

My mother.  In her spirit --- her joyful search for knowledge, and her dedication to passing on a generational love from daughter to daughter.

My daughter.  For stubbornly following her dreams no matter what, and for working so hard to make them happen. For her strong spirt.  Keep following your gut, darling!
