I am 57 years-old--almost 58. My birthday is December 20. I live in the Kansas City, MO area. I have been married for 26 years. I am a former flight attendant and high school French teacher. I am no longer working since my husband is retired now and we like to travel as well as spend our summers in Canada. We have 4 children from my husband's first marriage and 6 grandchildren. We are a very close family including my husband's first wife and her husband and we actually spend holidays and vacations together. It is such a blessing to all of us. My husband and I love to ski and we spend a month every year skiing in Idaho with the kids and grandkids coming and going for long weekends. We also love to fish in Canada during the beautiful summers up in the lake regions of NW Ontario. I love to read, knit,crochet, and quilt. I also love good films which are hard to come by these days. And finding new restaurants is something else we enjoy. I am also interested in religion and spirituality and I was a theology minor in college. I am a Roman Catholic married to a Methodist and I consider both churches my church homes. Faith is extremely important to me. I majored in French in college and lived in France for 14 mos. Speaking French and the French culture are also important to me. We also love Golden retrievers and have two beauties--Glory age 2 years and Ellie Belle age 7 months. We live in an area with beautiful walking trails and my husband and I love to walk the "girls" as we call them on the trails twice a day for 30 minutes each time. I also have 4 terrific brothers and 3 wonderful sisters-in-law as well as nieces and nephews. My mom is still living and doing great at the age of 93. She is married to a younger man and totally enjoying life!!! Life is good despite the ups and downs we all encounter and I enjoy every day of living!!
