my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

very carefully! I realized that my husband was emotionally abusing and controlling me in an unhealthy way. I decided to step out and use all the gifts that I have been given. I am a Christian and believe that I should use all that I have been given.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I was more of a victim then and believe that we should always do our best and it got to the point where I couldn't use what I was given to help people and myself and I didn't have someone that would support me and help with family. He was very very insecure so added to the problems that were there.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I see myself as having an actual degree and life and moving forward in my life. In this way I can help my children more. I will not be controlled by other people.

a postcard to my younger self
