How did you get to where you are now?

I keep wondering that myself.  Being married for 36 years and all of a sudden I decide I can't go on like this the rest of my life.

Shook up my family and myself.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Ten years ago, I was still putting up with the status quo.  My husband was also not giving up on everything yet then.  Now I see that if I don't make things happen for myself they won't happen.  I love my grandchildren dearly but I need more in my life than babysitting.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

At this point, I don't know.  Still trying to take care of my day-to-day life.  Would still like to be active and vital.

Remember to take care of yourself and not put everyone else come first.  If you don't take care of your own needs and wants you are not going to remain capable of caring for anyone else as they need.  You need to be able to show your daughter and grandchildren that you are a strong, loving and cabable woman.
