My Blog Circle:

PERRIE MENO-PUDGE®, is a new grown-up cartoon for 40+ women. The cartoon taps into the healing power of humor, then uses it to navigate the daily roadblocks and cope with the emotional roller-coaster of midlife women.

Created by two long-time, baby-boomer friends, who channeled years of shared entrepreneurial experience as graphic designers in NYC and life adventures into a midlife career change. Taking pen to napkin at dinner one evening, a family was imagined with PERRIE MENO-PUDGE as its lead character who turns life’s lemons into lemonade, adding an extra dose of light-hearted creativity.

Her philosophy is MIDLIFE ROCKS!® and she believes Midlife is the New Beautiful®.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Adobe Illustrator CS4 and, yes, some Photoshop. Hey, a gurl's gotta do what a gurl's gotta do!

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

More dimensional, 3 dimensional to be exact...and colorized. I think this 2-color look dates me. What do you think?

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

It all depends on whether or not my creators can remember where they parked the car. If you see them wandering aimlessly through the parking lot, remind them to press the key fab a few times. PLEASE HELP ME!

my role models

Thanksgiving Day Parade floats, Walt Disney, and my cat.
