Married for 38 years, mother of 2 married daughters, grandmother to 3 beautiful ones - each a miracle! Turned the big 60 this past August and try not to think about it.   I love to go to auctions, read, shop, travel, listen to music, have deep discussions, play cards, and most of all - laugh.

How did you get to where you are now?
  1. Through major personal & financial struggles
  2. Learning to accept who God made me
  3. Learning to like myself
  4. Learning to not be afraid
  5. Listening to others
  6. Learning to forgive others & myself
  7. Knowing & accepting that Jesus died for me - and you
How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?
  1. I see myself strong instead of weak
  2. I try to care about others more than myself
  3. I try to be content (most times!) with how my life is now and try to focus on the postives instead of the negatives
  4. I see how God brought me to where I am now and am amazed

 

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
  1. I see myself a strong, confident, caring woman
  2. I hope I have more grandchildren to love
  3. I hope to have 2 homes - one for vactioning in another state and one in Ohio
  4. I'll praise God for all things

A wonderful woman by the name of Lila, who loves every single person she meets, who is always smiling, who is caring, who has a gentle nature, who never loses her temper, and is my friend.
