I am a mother of eight children, soon to be 11 grandchildren. I am a jewelery designer, crafter, amateur photographer. I currently live in Grand Ronde, Oregon. We have a home in Madras, Oregon. We moved a little over a year ago, for jobs, due to the economy. Currently our home is a fifth wheel. Lol!!

How did you get to where you are now?: I literally stumbled upon the world of jewelry design in February of 2007. I had purchased a bead kit for one of my grand-daughters for Christmas of 2006. My grand-daughter never came that Christmas. In February of 2007 I decided to put that kit to use and found that I loved every aspect of bead jewelry designing. I have since found the love of photography, due to the need of photos for my jewelry designs.
How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?: Ten years ago I was living in central Oregon, semi retired, crafting in various materials, crocheting, knitting, painting, sewing, etc. I was working three part-time jobs, selling AVON, store merchandising and commercial newspaper delivery. Today I am working full time at a Casino as a prep cook, designing and selling gemstone, crystal and glass bead jewelry, and photography.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years?: Fully enjoying what I do now, definately designing and creating jewelry and any other creative medium. Professional photographer.

"After raising eight children, I compensated not having diamonds, by creating my own jewelry using swarovski crystals, czech beads,gemstones and other fine glass beads. The swarovski crystals have the look of diamonds, emeralds, rubies and sapphire..." (read comment)
