I am 55 years old, I have been divorced for 8 years - I was married for 28 yrs when my husband had a midlife disater (he is now married to her).  I have two grown children (a son 34 and a daughter 31 - grandkids 2, 4, & 16 yrs.).  I am an A/P Specialist for an IT/Telecom company.  I love music and dancing, I try to live my life to the fullest each day.  I love to be outside and sit in my swing and enjoy the night sky - the moon holds a special interest for me.  I do like to walk - I am a fantastic lister and I try to look for the fun in every situation.  My formal education is limited, but my life education is varied and better than any classroom could have offered. 

How did you get to where you are now?

To be honest I am not sure how I got where I am now,.  I woke up one morning, my whole world was turned upside down and everything I knew as my life had cease to exist.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Ten years ago I saw myself with my husband living our lives as a couple after our kids were grown and gone.  We were going to travel and do all the things we had put off, because we could not afford them when I kids were grown up.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I don't think about my life in 10 years - I am living my life one day at a time and making the most of what I am now!  I do hope there is another, 10, 20, and yes even another 30 years in my future but I have to live today for today and take my coming days one at a time!  I must not squander, waste or put off anything because this is not a dress rehersal - it is my life!

Enjoy your life, don't put off anything!  Take care of you and understand that you are worth so much!  You have much to give and this will be your downfall before your realize that you need to give love and worth to yourself!
