I'm 58 years old and have been in a committed relationship for 21 years.I have 1 son and 1 grandson.I worked in social service and food service before I retired in 2007 due to medical problems.I've lived in several states but always end up back in MN with the cold and the snow. I have decided to take control of my life and thoughts and at least make myself happy and maybe make someones day a little brighter. I am the woman in the grocery line that doesn't move ahead right away because i'm talking to the customer in front of me. I'm the one that tells the cashier to just take it easy everyone has had a first day on a job.

How did you get to where you are now?

A lot of running away from problems that I helped to make,a family that I never felt wanted me (even a a child my mother would say that boys were better than girls)LOTS OF THERAPY AND 12 STEP GROUPS

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I thought I was "in charge"of everything including myself.I figured I'd work until I wanted to retire and live my life as I chose as long as I didn't interferr with other peoples rights.Stronge,self suffient.Although I'd like someone in my life I didn't NEED anyone.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Being more earth friendly,being healthier because I'm really paying attention to my body.Hopefully  more kind and loving to my partenerl

Don't be so afraid of being wrong.Please yourself instead of eveybody else because in the end you have to live with your decisions no one else.Don't be so hard on yourself.Work harder on keeping that great sense of humour.You can make it on your own !!!!!!!!!!
