I am a 63 year old woman living with a chronic illness and enjoying life.  My husband and I have 2 adult children, grown and educated.  We are so proud of their accomplishments.  Four years ago, we fell in love with a beautiful four year old child.  We did not have a clue how to go about adopting her.....I think it was a God thing....We adopted Christina four years ago on October 31st.  What a blessing for us.  My life has changed from an empty nesting person; I am now a 3grade room mom and enjoying life.  My husband and I have been there and done that but we are finding it so much more fun now.  Enjoying the moment.

How did you get to where you are now?

God is very good to us in so many ways.  When a door shut, He opened a window and both my husband and I took the opportunity to explore. 
We have always been a great team.  Not by agreeing but by not and searching to a conclusion.  Our life has been hard but wonderful and I don't think we would change. We are not over zealous but rather very practical.  Love, faith and hope for the comon good of man.  My husband has humility and I do not have a single ounce.  He only sees the good in man and I see the good, the bad and the ugly.  I even have nicknames for individual people who do not know how to behave.....oh well....my husband tells me I make him laugh.....I am not trying to be funny.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Exactly the same......Love, faith and hope for my fellow men.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

A little older, much wiser and somewhat the same.  Always have faith, always love (even when it hurts) and continue to have hope.
