I am a breast cancer survivor. Author,Composer/ Singer.

I work with my husband who owns Focus scientific the "telescope and binocular store in Ottawa Canada.

I just turned 60 and I am thrilled. I thought I would never make it.

How did you get to where you are now?

Oh my Lord, that book has yet to be written.

I think my life has been a series of events that have eventually unfolded to where I am now. 60 and loving every second.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

Ten years ago I was living in a different town, with a different husband, doing a different job...I never expected to be here NOW!

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Hopefully happy and healthy and working in a job that I love with my husband cheering me on.

a postcard to my younger self

hey kid it will be a bumpy ride so as bete davis so aptly said

"tighten your seat belt"...just remember that you are a survivor!!!

Oldly enough I really admire Queen Elizabeth ll.

She is an amazing woman...strong and gracefull.

My husband is one of the kindest and generous men I know.

My best friend whom I have known for 55 years she is my soul sister.

My dear friend who went to be with God last year...what courage.

Paul McCartney just because he is and always will be AWESOME!

"whenever I see a woman who is bald and I know she is going through or was just finishing treatment...I go up and give her a hug and ask how she is doing "today" we are members of the "cancer club" and we wear our badges proudly! My husband calls me..." (read comment)

"i think that talking about our situation helps...i talk to my husband and good friends...i specify good friends because some people make you feel like you have leprosy. I am very chosey whom I spend time with I really can't deal with negative attitud..." (read comment)
