Being an Artist, I run my own business ( www.thefauxchateau.com )   I was born in Germany, grew up in a military family, and had to get used to moving alot.  As I became an adult, I enjoyed a wide variety of work from secretary to working as a Vocalist.  Each time, the most creative fields I work in, was where I blossomed the most.

I have the best of both worlds...being a dreamer and a realist - I know how to balance my life and enjoy the gifts God gave me.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

Hard work, Determination and Persistance!  And a wonderful supportive Brother and Mom, good friends who believe in me, and Alot of Prayer and Faith in Jehovah!

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I do...but that is still a work in progress.  I see myself as being Healthier, Vibrant and committed to a life well spent.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Having my own Art business - my own home and commercial space!   The one thing I have never had is a permanent home - and it has to look like a particular house - Front porch for sitting, surrounded by lovely & workable gardens, lots of friends who visit, an art studio and successful business that will afford me to hold on to all of this!!!   It doesn't have to be a big house - I'd be HAPPY with 1200 sf or less!  But it has to have a front porch for sitting, having company over and a place to pass the time (and at least enough space for 4 rocking chairs!)

a postcard to my younger self

Dear Juliana,    Whatever you do - never give up!  You have the power to make the changes you wish for, the strength to endure the hard times - and YOU are worth having all that you achieve. Don't let anyone ever make you feel you are not good enough!  And don't settle because get tired, or feel lonely, or think you can't get it.   Never compare yourself - You are beautiful and fine just the way you are!   Always offer a friend a hand, give a stranger a smile - and continue to be the Bright Star you hope to be.

Love,  Me

my role models

Diane Keaton or Susan Sarandon...both strong women who appear to not be afraid of their feminine & business side in a man's world.
