my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

I've been a widow for 12 years. Thought that was the worst thing that had ever happened in my life.  Shocked to find out I was wrong when supressed memories emerged.  Have dealt with them for the most part.  Helped me to know how strong I really am and why I do the things that I do.

Was tested for ADD/ADHD and the tester said I was the first to check out on all six types.  That helped explain more about my personality and how I learn things.  So I get to do things a little different to achieve my goals.

Been working part time for most of those 12 years.  Recently lost main source of income so I built a business on the internet.  Seems like I've been working 24-7 since then and even pulling all nighters.  And, yet, I'm having a blast and know that I'm where I should be.  And it's coming together rapidly.

I've always wanted to be successful.  Recently, I read a quote by Helen Hays and she said that "achievement" was more important than success.  I believe that I agree with her.  So I will never retire because I want to always have purpose in my life. (too many die within a couple of years of retiring)

What I'm seriously thinking about now is raising horses.  That is a desire that I didn't put on the back burner, I buried it because of circumstances.  No more!  So I'm working on how to achieve my dream since I was 16.  I am 67 years young and "age is nothing but a number".

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I was a victim 10 years ago.  Now, I am responsible for everything that happens in my life.  If it's to be, it's up to me.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Achieved, successful and raising horses (maybe in a paradise earth).
