My Nemesis

This is always the hard part....me.  Who am I.  Well, I am a semi separated 55 year old woman with a 19 year old daughter and a 3 year old grandson.   I say I am semi separated as my ex husband came back to stay with me while he went through chemo to treat live and lung cancer.  He had no other family that was willing or able to help him.

I am a personal support worker in a group home with 5 people living in the house.  It is full 24 hour care.  I love my job and love the company I work for.  They are supportive of me and situation I have found myself in...giving me time off with little notice to take care of moving my ex across the country, and making sure he go to all his appointments.

I have travelled a fair bit, visiting England many times, a lot of the US and most of Canada along with some parts of South America and Haiti.

Well, that is a start.

my VN interview

How did you get to where you are now?

I have lived where I am for 11 years, moved here as my marriage was crumbling, and was looking for a smaller town, close to transporation - trains, planes and automotibles.  I found it here.

How do you see yourself differently now than you did 10 years ago?

I am stronger, more self confident and sure of myself.

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Retired.
